Ultimo Guerrero – The leader of Los Guerreros Del Infierno/Atlantida factions. Has been a top star in CMLL for over 10 years. Started his rise back in 1998 after winning a torneo cibernetico with the prize of being in main events for a few shows. He impressed enough that he remained near the top of the cards. In 1999, he and Rey Bucanero joined El Satanico’s latest incarnation of Los Infernales. The trio had immediate success as the top rudo trio and Guerrero and Bucanero developed into Mexico’s top tag team for several years. They eventually split with El Satanico and soon formed Los Guerreros Del Infierno with Tarzan Boy (now Toscano). That trio continued the success that Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero had previously experienced with their former mentor, who they feuded with. His partnership with Rey Bucanero led to them winning the CMLL World Tag Team Titles 3 times and he also had success as a singles wrestler winning the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Title. That trio would eventually change as Atlantis would join the team by first replacing Tarzan Boy, who was on hiatus and then later would replace Rey Bucanero. Once Bucanero left, the new group would change its name to Los Guerreros del Atlantida. Again, Ultimo Guerrero found success winning the CMLL World Tag Team Titles with Atlantis and also winning the CMLL World Trios Titles. In late 2009, he defeated Dos Caras Jr. (Alberto Del Rio) to become the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion. He has also won countless tournaments that he’s participated in over the years. In the past year, Ultimo Guerrero coached Grupo Bravo in a round-robin type tournament involving newer/younger CMLL wrestlers. He took to being a mentor to Rey Escorpion and the two had a difficult teacher/student relationship due to Rey Escorpion being perfectly okay with using illegal tactics against the fellow Grupo Bravo participants, but that soon faded away. Ultimo Guerrero’s partnership with Atlantis dissolved over the summer of 2011 and since that time Rey Bucanero teamed with Dragon Rojo Jr. (who he holds the CMLL World Tag Team Titles with) and Rey Escorpion. After a run that spanned over two and a half years, Ultimo Guerrero lost the CMLL World Heavyweight Title to Hector Garza on August 12, 2011. Has feuded with some of the biggest names that have stepped into CMLL over the years including El Satanico, El Hijo del Santo, Negro Casas, Mistico, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Hector Garza, Atlantis, Shocker, along with others.
