EMLL 6/15/82 Arena Coliseo Results

Herodes/Fuerza Guerrera/Emilio Charles Jr. d. Aguila Solitaria/Javier Cruz/Mano Negra in 3 falls (22:11)

Prior to the match starting, the ring announcer informs the crowd that early Monday morning the Box y Lucha commission received a letter from an anonymous person who complained about Aguila Solitaria’s eagle and because of this letter, they will not allow Aguila Solitaria to bring his eagle along with him to Arena Coliseo in the foreseeable future until they have time to discuss this matter further. The rudos applaud the decision, while everyone else booed it.

Rudos win the first fall quickly. Charles Jr. uses a slam followed by a top rope sentón to pin Javier Cruz. Herodes forces Aguila Solitaria to submit with a half crab. Fuerza catches Mano Negra with an inverted atomic drop, which looked like a foul, but Fuerza covered him quickly for the pin. (5:10)

Rudos in control for most of the second fall using illegal double and triple-teaming on the tecnicos. Rudos begin to celebrate a little too much and Herodes decides he’s going to do a splash off the top rope on Mano Negra. Herodes jumps off the top rope, but hits the mat as Mano Negra gets out of the way at the nick of time. Javier Cruz climbs the top rope immediately and does a splash of his own only he does hit Herodes and gets the pin on him. Fuerza charges at Aguila Solitaria, who catches him in a quebradora and keeps him on his knee, where he forces him to submit by using his knee to apply pressure on Fuerza’s back. Emilio tries for a clothesline on Mano Negra, but Mano Negra ducks and grabs Emilio by the arms and back slides him for the pin. (9:20)

Third fall with a wild finish as Herodes gets tossed to the outside. Mano Negra then hits a slingshot plancha on Herodes. Fuerza is getting ready to go airborne, but Javier Cruz catches him with a top rope dropkick that sends Fuerza to the outside as well. Cruz then goes with a tope suicida onto Fuerza Guerrera. All four men on the outside can’t get back in the ring, so it’s down to Aguila vs. Charles Jr. Back and forth action between the two ends when Emilio claims he was fouled and rolls around on the mat and the referees believe him. (7:41)

Aguila Solitaria argued with the referees, but the decision was final. Emilio rolls out of the ring to check on his fallen teammates and a big grin can be seen across his face.

Brazo De Oro/Brazo De Plata d. Negro Navarro/El Signo in 3 falls (20:18)

First fall was a relatively clean fall with both teams matching each other hold for hold. Los Brazos pin Navarro first when Brazo de Oro slams him to the mat and Brazo de Plata hits a senton. El Signo submits to an armbar submission by Brazo de Oro. (7:08)

Second fall starts clean up until a near-pin attempt by El Signo on Brazo de Plata. Brazo de Plata gets up and voices his displeasure at El Signo about the near pinfall. El Signo slaps him. Brazo de Plata returns the favor. Navarro comes in and they double-team Brazo de Plata and send him crashing to the outside with a double-clotheslilne. Brazo de Oro gets in and he gets body slammed by Navarro. El Signo applies a half-crab and Navarro decides to apply a camel clutch on him at the same time. Brazo De Oro submits! Brazo de Plata gets back in and he gets caught by both Navarro and El Signo who grab each arm and force him to submit. (8:04)

Both Brazos step to the outside to recover, but Navarro and El Signo head to the outside and decide to bring the fight to them. Brawl ensues outside. Bell rings for the start of the third fall. Navarro and Brazo de Oro get back in the ring. Navarro hits the ropes with hopes of hitting Brazo de Oro with a clothesline, but Brazo de Plata trips him from the outside. El Signo gets back to make the save by attacking Brazo de Plata outside. Navarro is distracted by the altercation outside. Brazo De Oro sneaks in and applies a tirabuzon (abdominal stretch) and drops down to the mat for a pinfall. (5:04)

Los Brazos win. Los Misioneros demanded a rematch, but wanted it to be a trios match for the Mexican National Trios Titles.

El Dandy d. El Brazo in 2 falls (18:33)

El Brazo is first to the ring and he arrives just as his brothers are heading to the back. They pat him on the back and wish him luck. El Dandy comes out and he gets jumped by all three Brazos. Referee and some officials force the other two Brazos to the locker room, but the damage is done and El Brazo has the early advantage. He tosses El Dandy into the ring. Referee gets back in and warns El Brazo to stay in his corner. Ref asks El Dandy if he’s ok and asks for the bell to ring to begin the match. As soon as the bell rings, El Brazo is back on the attack. El Brazo throws a flurry of punches to El Dandy’s forehead. He then begins to bite his forehead. Referee tries to separate him from El Dandy. Finally gets El Brazo off him. Blood starts to flow from El Dandy’s forehead. El Brazo immediately attacks again! He starts punching at El Dandy’s forehead again. Referee tries to pull off El Brazo, but El Brazo shoves the referee. Ref waves his finger warning El Brazo, but again El Brazo shoves him down. Referee calls for the bell and El Brazo loses the first fall via disqualification. (10:05)

Second fall gets underway with more of El Brazo’s brutal attack on El Dandy. El Brazo slams El Dandy and climbs to the top rope. He goes for a splash off the top rope, but El Dandy moves out of the way. El Dandy gets fired up and the fans start chanting his name. El Dandy hits the ropes and tries to land a senton, but El Brazo moves. El Brazo goes for an elbowdrop, but El Dandy moves. El Dandy goes for La Majistral, but El Brazo breaks out of the hold. El Dandy gets right back up and grabs El Brazo by the head and applies a front face lock and holds El Brazo’s arm in a wacky submission move. El Brazo gives up immediately. (9:28)

As the referee raises El Dandy’s arm, Los Brazos run out from the back and attack El Dandy! Javier Cruz and a couple of other tecnicos along with the referees and officials come out to break up the attack.

Black Gordman & The Twin Devils d. El Solitario/Lizmark/Alfonso Dantes in 3 falls (27:40)

Tecnicos win the first fall. Alfonos Dantes puts Black Gordman in La Tapatia. Twin Devils run-in to make the save, but Lizmark catches Twin Devil #1 with a huracarana for the pin. El Solitario hits Twin Devil #2 with a body press for the pin. Gordman gives up as he waves his hands in the air while still in La Tapatia. (9:05)

Rudos win the second fall after the Twin Devils pulled off El Solitario and Lizmark’s masks and small packaged them for pins. Gordman then fouled Dantes getting the win. (7:11)

Wild third fall as Dantes at one point put both Twin Devils in a bear hug at the same time. They were able to break the hold. Twin Devils knock down Dantes and celebrate. They turn around and are met by dropkicks from Lizmark and El Solitario. Twin Devils slide to the outside. Lizmark hits a tope on Twin Devil #2. El Solitario climbs the top rope and hits a plancha on Twin Devil #1. That leaves Dantes and Gordman to decide the match. Gordman charges at Dantes, but Dantes grabs him in a bear hug. Gordman struggles to break out until he bites Dante’s nose. Dantes releases Gordman and turns to the ref to complain about the bite. As Dantes turns his attention back to Gordman, Gordman fouls him and immediately covers him for the pin. (11:24)

Fans boo as Black Gordman’s arm is raised. Coloso Colosetti runs into the ring and celebrates with Gordman and The Twin Devils.

Rayo De Jalisco Jr. d. Coloso Colosetti to retain the Mexican National Heavyweight Title via DQ after 2 falls (18:10)

Rayo De Jalisco Jr. is accompanied by his second, Chamaco Valaguez and he’s wearing a neck brace. The Twin Devils leave the area without any type of altercation. Colosetti and Gordman (Colosetti’s second) laugh and point at Rayo’s neck brace. The official representing the box y lucha commission asks the doctor ringside to check on Rayo’s neck before entering the ring.

Gordman steps out of the ring and shoves Rayo. Rayo throws a punch at Gordman. Colosetti attacks Rayo and removes the neck brace. He proceeds to hit Rayo on the neck. Valaguez shoves Gordman out of the way. Gordman backs off as Colosetti throws Rayo into the ring. Fans start a “RAYO! RAYO!” chant. Colosetti tells them to be quiet. Colosetti puts Rayo in a headlock to apply more pressure on his neck. Fans chants for Rayo grow louder. Gordman kneeling ringside turns and tells everyone to shut up. Valaguez slaps at the mat to get Rayo going. Rayo moves towards the ropes and shoves Colosetti, releasing the headlock, and hits Colosetti with a shoulder. Colosetti gets up and charges at Rayo, who arm drags him. Colosetti back up again and charges again and Rayo arm drags him a second time. Colosetti grabs Rayo by the arm and throws him to a corner. Colosetti charges at him, but Rayo moves and rolls him up for the 1…2…3. Rayo wins! (12:15)

El Solitario and Lizmark run out to clean house. Colosetti and Gordman leave the ringside area. The fans boo them as they walk back to the locker room.
