EMLL Arena Coliseo 6/1/82 Results

Emilio Charles Jr. d. Aguila Solitaria in 3 falls (22:11)

Aguila Solitaria is back with his eagle! This enrages Emilio Charles Jr. who yells at the referee and turns over to the representative of the DF Box y Lucha Commission and yells at him a little more. The trainer heads over to take the eagle to the back and even he gets an earful from Charles Jr.

First fall is fast paced as the two exchange moves and go for a few quick pin attempts. Charles Jr. gets the first fall victory when he slams Aguila Solitaria to the mat and then applies a half crab for a submission win. (7:45)

Second fall started with Charles Jr. trying to remove Aguila Solitaria’s mask, but the ref is able to stop him from doing so. Charles is in control of the majority of this match. Charles lifts Aguila up and slams him to the mat. He goes for the pin, but pulls Aguila up. Emilio Charles Jr. Montions to the crowd that he’s going to go for another slam. He picks up Aguila again, but this time, Aguila grabs him and is able to hook him for the pin. (8:10) Crowd cheers and makes fun of Emilio Charles Jr., who is visibly upset.

Third fall starts quickly as Charles Jr. charges at Aguila Solitaria. Aguila moves out of the way and Charles goes crashing to the floor. Aguila climbs the top rope and hits a plancha on Charles Jr. Charles gets up a little faster, despite being the one hit with the plancha. Charles climbs to the ring apron and as Aguila stands to the side of the ring, Charles runs off the ring and hits “La Silla” (diving Thesz Press) on Aguila Solitaria. Charles Jr. Gets back in the ring and wins via countout as Aguila can’t get back to the ring in time. (6:16)

Herodes/Mascara Año Dos Mil/Fuerza Guerrera d. Lizmark/Javier Cruz/Chamaco Valaguez in 3 falls (18:20)

First fall is relatively short as the rudos win rather quickly after attacking the técnicos. Fuerza kicked Cruz in the gut and rolled him up for the pin. Herodes made Valaguez submit with La Gongorina (Mexican Stretch). Mascara Año Dos Mil slammed Lizmark and followed up with a pin. (4:30)

Rudos in control early in the match, but 5 minutes into the second fall, Herodes misses a clothesline and hits Fuerza, who gets sent to the outside. Cruz bounces off the ropes and hits a tope suicida on Fuerza. Both men get counted out. Herodes and Mascara Año Dos Mil both get into the ring and double-team Lizmark. Lizmark headscissors Herodes to the outside and Mascara Año Dos Mil gets thrown towards the corner. Lizmark goes after Mascara Año Dos Mil and while he’s grabbing him in the corner. Valaguez charges with a tope suicida on Herodes. Lizmark slams Mascara Año Dos Mil in the center of the ring and climbs the top rope. Mascara Año Dos Mil gets back up and Lizmark hits a plancha for the pin. (8:05)

Everyone gets a little time to recover and go to their corners. The rudos act like they’re heading to their corner, but instead go back and attack the tecnicos. Fuerza gets the pin on Cruz after doing an inverted atomic drop/low blow combination. Herodes splashes Valaguez in the corner and then he and Fuerza team up to cover Valaguez for the pin. Mascara Año Dos Mil then pins Lizmark with a small package. (5:45)

El Satanico/MS1/Pirata Morgan d. Los Misioneros de la Muerte in 3 falls (23:35)

Wild brawl between these two teams as El Satanico was still upset over the way he was treated by Los Misioneros in their previous match. MS1 replaced Jerry Estrada for this match. Both teams brawled all over Arena Coliseo. MS1 grabs the drink crate and proceeds to crack it over the head of El Signo. Near ringside, Pirata Morgan and Negro Navarro are throwing punches at each other. Inside the ring, team captains, El Satanico and El Texano are throwing punches, kicks, and Satanico even throws in a headbutt for good measure on El Texano. El Satanico fouls El Texano and covers him for the pin. Refs are too distracted with the action and missed the low blow. Ref raises El Satanico hand, but El Satanico won’t let go of El Texano. (9:15)

The referees are able to get everyone to their corner to continue the second fall. That doesn’t last very long as Los Misioneros take a number advantage on the opposing rudos. They force El Satanico to submit with a doble palanca (double armbar), while Pirata and MS1 are left outside recovering from their beatdown at the hands of Los Misioneros. (8:40)

Everyone gets back in the ring. MS1 and El Satanico get thrown to the outside. Navarro and El Signo try to clothesline Pirata Morgan, but MS1 and El Satanico trip them both up and drag them to the outside. El Signo gets the advantage on El Satanico and holds him on one side, while on the other side, MS1 is holding Navarro. Pirata Morgan and El Texano criss-cross each other and hit topes to the outside w/ Morgan hitting Navarro and El Texano hitting El Satanico. They also happen to wipe-out their teammates in the process. MS1 is the lone guy able to get back into the ring and his team wins as everyone else gets counted out. (5:40)

Rayo De Jalisco Jr./La Fiera/Sangre Chicana d. Perro Aguayo/Babe Face/Colosso Colosetti in 2 falls (17:33)

Building was still buzzing after the previous match and got really loud again as Perro Aguayo stepped into the ring. Rudos are heavily booed. As the tecnicos come through the isle, Chicana is immediately attacked by Perro Aguayo on the outside. Babe Face and La Fiera fight in the ring. Colosetti won’t let Rayo remove his sombrero or his cape. La Fiera superkicks Babe Face and follows up with a top rope splash for the pin. Colosetti and Rayo get back in the ring and Rayo hits Colosetti with body press off the ropes for the pin. Sangre Chicana and Perro Aguayo never get in the ring and are both counted out. (10:05)

Rudos get disqualified in the second fall as Perro Aguayo wouldn’t stop his attack on Sangre Chicana and shoved one of the referees. Babe Face “fouled” La Fiera and one of the referees caught it. Colosetti pulled Rayo’s mask off and was disqualified for it. (7:28)

Post-match Coloso Colosetti demands a shot at the Mexican National Heavyweight title held by Rayo De Jalisco Jr.

El Dandy d. Brazo de Oro (Revancha) in 3 falls (31:25)

Match continued the recurring theme of the night as both guys went after each other in a wild brawl to start the match. The other two Brazos were not in the building as they had another commitment on this night. Both men get back in the ring. El Dandy throws a flurry of punches before the ref breaks him off Brazo de Oro. Back and forth first fall ends when El Dandy rolls up Brazo de Oro in a small package for the win. (9:11)

Second fall continues with wilder brawling as El Dandy has now ripped Brazo de Oro’s mask. Brazo de Oro is able to gain some momentum in this fall after El Dandy misses a plancha from the top rope. Brazo places El Dandy in a headlock and constantly gets the ref distracted about El Dandy pulling his mask. Ref checks and while he’s doing that, Brazo de Oro throws in a few punches into El Dandy’s forehead. El Dandy is able to get near the ropes and tosses Brazo de Oro off them. Both men hit each other. Brazo de Oro climbs the top rope and hits a senton off the top rope for the second fall victory. (11:14)

Fans begin a “DANDY!” chant at the start of the third fall. Brazo de Oro tells the fans to be quiet, which results in the chant getting louder. Bell rings and both men continue their wild brawl. El Dandy tosses Brazo de Oro to the outside and immediately follows with a tope suicida. Ref begins to count them out. Fans are chanting for El Dandy. Both men get up at about the 8-count and as the ref continues to count. Each tries to keep the other from getting back in the ring. El Dandy is able to get inside the ring before the 20-count. He wins as Brazo de Oro is counted out. (11:00)

El Dandy demanded a mask vs. hair match against Brazo de Oro, but Brazo de Oro waved him off and headed back to the lockerroom.
