Mascarita Dorada Interview (w/ Audio) and Info
Perros Del Mal seems to be enjoying the social networking realm and have created a ton of accounts be it facebook, twitter and now tumblr. (Wonder if they’ll ever work on their main website)
Here’s an interview from the Perros Del Mal press conference to introduce Mascarita Dorada as a new member of the promotion.
Some quick notes:
On leaving CMLL:
- Said he left (mutual parting will probably be the pc answer to his departure) because of the politics in the business. No one in CMLL is allowed to work on a show featuring El Hijo del Santo. Said there was no animosity between himself, CMLL or Paco Alonso (CMLL Boss).
- Talked to Paco Alonso and told him he had a family to feed. He gets paid well working outside of Mexico. Said he holds no grudges and in fact is very appreciative of the opportunities that CMLL gave him and how they were willing to work around his busy schedule which not only includes wrestling in and out of Mexico, but movie, telenovela and commercial appearances as well. Said he had some of his biggest triumphs in CMLL.
On the name, Mascarita Dorada:
- Claims to own the Mascarita Dorada name so he doesn’t see any problems coming up.
On his regular-sized version, Mascara Dorada:
- Said he hopes that the guy working under the Mascara Dorada name keeps it because he thinks he has a great future ahead of him. Said he’s very talented.
On becoming an independent and working for Perros Del Mal:
- Said he’s looking forward to this next step in his career.
- HE LIVES IN LOS ANGELES!
- Talked about what an honor it was to wrestle as Mini Santo in Belgium.
- He hasn’t scheduled his debut with Perros del Mal due to being busy and working a TV show in Los Angeles and has some dates scheduled elsewhere (mentioned San Francisco).
