STEEL CAGE MATCH
Mr. Mega Star Tommy Wilson © vs. SoCal Crazy
The history between SoCal Crazy and Tommy Wilson dates back over 4 years. Tommy Wilson helped train SoCal Crazy for the first ever SoCal Pro Wrestling Cage Match against then champion Jason Redondo. SoCal Crazy in the end defeated Redondo to become a first time champion. Shortly after SoCal Crazy & Tommy Wilson became a tag team but greed took over and Wilson turned his back on Crazy and laid him out with a steel chair severing their relationship!
These two men have battled it out ever since both men each winning a ladder match and one year ago at Super Clash’s 8 man cage match SoCal Crazy made Tommy Wilson tap in the middle of the ring earning his team the win. Unfortunately for Crazy the title was not on the line. All year Wilson has found his way getting involved in Crazy’s matches and now these men will finish it once and for all inside a STEEL CAGE, one on one.
Golden State Championship Match
“Mirror Image” Ricky Mandel vs. Kid Caramba
In June of this year at the Summer Classic Ricky Mandel became the first man in SoCal Pro history to hold every title possible. He was once a tag team champion with Hector Canales and later became the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion. Kid Caramba has been on quite the roll over the last year by defeating everyone in his way and in the process becoming the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion by defeating Tommy Wilson in January of this year! September 15th is a big day as both men have a lot to prove!
Singles Match
Joey Barone vs. Jimmy Ray Walker (JRDUB)
Joey “The Bone” Barone was on the biggest winning streak of his life this year. He was undefeated January-June defeating some of the top talent here in SoCal Pro. Barone stated at last years Summer Classic that he was going to not only make it into the 2012 Classic but WIN the entire tournament. In Round one he was defeated by Ryan Kidd ending his streak. This has made Joey Barone quite upset calling the win by the young Ryan Kidd a fluke and now looks to show all of the younger talent hes nothing to take lightly!
Jimmy Ray Walker took quite the beating in June at the Summer Classic by Johnny Paradise. Walker never quit no matter how rough things got and the fans sure nook notice! The building erupted manty times for walker with JRDUB chants that seemed to give him a second and third win. He later won the match by couldn’t compete later on in the tournament due to injury. The following month he scored what could have been his biggest win which was in the tag team match against Damage Control. Could we see this young kid with his newly found support by all of the SoCal Pro fans pick up a HUGE win this month against Joey Barone? We will see on the 15th!
Singles Match
Andre Machievski vs. Jason Redondo
Andre Machievski has been on quite the tear here with quite the controversy over the last few months. He is picking up big wins but also angry that there is not title shots granted by management. Machievski has been knocking people out left and right including not only Kid Caramba last month BUT the referee as well. Will management finally take notice of the skills and talent Machievski has if he can defeat Jason Redondo or will Redondo be able to use Machievski as a stepping stone to find his way back in the rankings for the Heavyweight Championship? This is an extremely important match for both men!
RockNES Monsters (Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime) vs. Frosted Tip Warriors (Ryan Kidd & Eddie Randle)
The Frosted Tip Warriors have been on quite the roll since etering SoCal Pro Wrestling as a tag team and becoming fan favorites even faster! The RockNES Monsters have not been seen from as a complete team in one year! The due plan to return with a bang!
NO Disqualifications Match
Duke vs. Big Daddy Destro
Damage Control was the kind of tag team that SoCal Pro Wrestling has never seen before and quite possible may never see again! Duke & Destro dominated the tag team division for a year and a half before becoming the Tag Team Champions. Damage Control had the toughest challenge to date against the team of SoCal Crazy & Kid Caramba. Both former Heavyweight Champions took the team to their limit and defeated the duo to become NEW tag team champions. Destro was unhappy with the outcome as he placed blame on Duke for the loss.
July of this year the two men returned and was defeated once again by JRDub & Pulpo Dorado. Duke again was the cause of the loss in the eyes of Destro! Destro had enough and turned his back on Duke post match and decided it was time to show Duke who was boss and choke him out! The two men couldn’t settle it last month at “Loser Leaves Town” so the two will try to settle their differenced this month in a do DQ Match at Super Clash on September 15th in Oceanside.
