VIDEO: Dragon Lee is the New Mistico

Since last Wednesday, the news of Dragon Lee becoming the New Mistico has been a hot topic among lucha fans. CMLL was quick to show highlights from the press conference were Fray Tormenta made the announcement and gave the Mistico mask to Dragon Lee on their TV shows. Most notably in the closing minutes of the show on Galavision/Televisa. There’s been people who have asked who Dragon Lee is and wouldn’t you know it there is a fan made highlight video on youtube. I’d expect those to multiply as he dons the new Mistico gimmick.

Also this past Sunday at the Arena Coliseo show, Niebla Roja ripped apart Dragon Lee’s mask in a manner that showed it was the end of that gimmick for Dragon Lee and the next time we see him he’ll be the New Mistico. Niebla Roja might be his first rival once he returns, but its CMLL, plans change. It will probably be someone like Averno or Ultimo Guerrero instead.
