2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #2. L.A. Park

0

2. L.A. Park – (2) – (6’0″, 255 lbs, 29 yr. pro): Spent most of 2011 as part of La Sociedad. There was always a bit of friction between L.A. Park and the rest of La Sociedad as L.A. Park wanted a shot at the AAA Mega World title going back to 2010, but Konnan kept telling him to wait his turn and used him instead to eliminate any enemies that La Sociedad had. Continued his heated feud with El Mesias in 2011. He also had an on-again/off-again feud with Dr. Wagner Jr. In the Rey de Reyes finals, L.A. Park and El Mesias feud erupted once more and the two spent most of their time brawling outside and were both counted out. L.A. Park accepted El Mesias mask vs. hair challenge for Triplemania. L.A. Park won the match and felt that after that big win, he should get a shot at fellow La Sociedad member and AAA Mega World Champion Jeff Jarrett. He received a shot, but in a three-way match also involving Dr. Wagner Jr. However, Konnan told L.A. Park his job was to make sure Jarrett kept the title. Jarrett won the match by pinning L.A. Park after, Chessman dressed as the masked Zorro attacked L.A. Park. This was Konnan’s way of keeping the belt on Jarrett and getting L.A. Park to chase after El Zorro. L.A. Park’s frustration with Konnan and La Sociedad continued as the year progressed. At the AAA Guerra de Titanes show, L.A. Park defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Title.
