2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #3. Blue Panther

3. Blue Panther – (23) – (5’7″, 194 lbs, 33 yr. pro): Another veteran that had an exceptional 2011. “El Maestro Lagunero” spent much of 2011 feuding with Negro Casas. They had an excellent match on April 24th at Arena Coliseo. Continued to provide strong performances in CMLL trios matches. Teamed with Dragon Rojo Jr. in the National Parejas Increibles tournament were they lost in the finals to Atlantis and Mascara Dorada. Blue Panther was the mentor of the Delta group in the Forjando Un Idolo tournament. He teamed with Fuego and Polvora in the trios portion of the tournament. The feud between Casas and Panther eventually was going to lead to a hair match, but Felino got involved, so at the 12/16 Sin Piedad show, Blue Panther won the hair of Felino via disqualification. Blue Panther also made appearances on independent shows in matches involving other veterans like Negro Navarro, Black Terry and Solar I. Matches were usually pretty great as well.
