AULL 4/9/08:

How great is it that one of the AULL announcers is named ‘Ernesto Campo’? Javier Llanes screwed up his name about 50 times in the first match alone and eventually just gave up. If your real name is Ernesto Campo and you end up being a wrestling announcer, I’m pretty sure you should change your first name to something else. If your real name isn’t Ernesto Campo and you just chose it, you are a fucking dumbass.

Psicopata/Super Nino/Super Panda vs. Cerebro Maligno/Epitafio/Herejia: I keep being excited to watch Cerebro Maligno hoping that he’ll use Trolly more often but it’s pretty obvious Trolly is too tiny and messed up phyiscally to be involved at all. The most he did here was a plancha off the second turnbuckle but even that seemed too much for him and he had to recover afterwards. Psicopata was the only fun part of the match and he hit a crazy dive (as we expect from the AULL regulars) in the third fall leading to his team’s victory.

Rey Krimen/Rocky Santana/Sepulturero vs. Chucho el Roto/Heavy Boy/Robin Maravilla: Chucho El Roto? What does that even mean? It was just some lanky dude in a white outfit and plain white mask. He had a decent exchange in the first fall ending with a wild running somersault plancha onto Sepulturero. Heavy Boy hit a tope suicida in the third fall and ended up in the first row. Rocky low blowed Robin to get the win. Aside from the wild dives the AULL guys are awful…

Sadico vs. Terry 2000 [AULL Light Heavyweight Title]: … speaking of which.:) I am absolutely sick of seeing these guys wrestle. Can they work with anyone else? I guess the answer is pretty obvious by now. Same old match with the same old crazy dives which is all I watch for. Sadico won the contest by doing the craziest dive – a springboard somersault plancha into the second row – except they had a plant in the crowd wearing a mask who helped catch since I guess Sadico has gotten sick of landing on the seats when Terry blows the catch. Sadico went over clean. I expect one more AULL DVD to pop up at some point down the road and these guys to be wrestling each other once again.
