16. Dr. Wagner Jr. – (11) – (5’10″, 216 lbs, 26 yr. pro): One of the more popular wrestlers in Mexico. Was one of the main AAA wrestlers feuding with La Sociedad. His long-running feud with L.A. Park also continued on independent shows and AAA. Their feud has also involved their sons. Dr. Wagner Jr. has teamed a bit with his son, Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Became the first AAA Latin American Heavyweight Champion by beating TNA’s Rob Van Dam on June 18th at Triplemania. Challenged Jeff Jarrett in a 3-way match (also included L.A. Park) for the AAA World Mega Title at the July 31st Verano de Escandalo show. Lost due to the interference of Karen Jarrett. Focused his attention on Los Perros Del Mal. At the Heroes Inmortales show on October 9th, he successfully defended the AAA Latin American Title against Hijo del Perro Aguayo. However after the match, Doc was attacked by former teammates and AAA tecnicos, La Parka and Octagon. Konnan assigned L.A. Park to handle Dr. Wagner Jr. with the promise that if he beat Doc, he would then get a shot at Jarrett. Dr. Wagner Jr. lost the AAA Latin American Title to L.A. Park at the Guerra de Titanes show on December 16th.
