2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #30. Jack Evans
30. Jack Evans – (34) – (5’8″, 165 lbs, 12 yr. pro): A pretty big year for the high-flyer, who has been really popular since turning tecnico (babyface) a few years back in AAA. Teamed with Extreme Tiger to win the AAA World Tag Team Titles from Silver Kain & Ultimo Gladiador on March 21st in Leon. Had a couple of successful title matches against Abyss & Mr. Anderson at Triplemania and Billy El Malo & Escoria. In September AAA remembered Jack Evans was also the AAA Cruiserweight Champion, so he had a successful title defense against Escoria. At the Heroes Inmortales show in Monterrey on October 9th, Jack and Extreme Tiger lost the tag team titles to Abyss and Chessman. Jack started teaming with a variety of partners in the ongoing feud with La Sociedad. This eventually led to a rivalry between Jack and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. They finished the year and entered the new year feuding.
