CMLL C3 TV 4/19/08:
Amapola/La Nazi/La Seductora vs. Luna Mágica/Princesa Blanca/Sahori: I was *this close* to reaching for the gun and ending my life during this match. Okay… not really. But if I had done it nobody would have blamed me. This wasn’t just BAD - it was PATHETIC. I’m not saying that as someone who hates watching women wrestle, I’m not saying it as someone who needs flying to enjoy a match, I’m saying it as someone who is a wrestling fan and can’t stand to see a 15 match stallfest with multiple blown spots when they decided to “wrestle”. The only interesting part was when Sahori danced for the crowd. I thought the ladies didn’t do that b/c it would cheapen the crowd’s image of them compared to the edecanes?
Metálico/Starman/Tigre Blanco vs. Arkangel de la Muerte/Hooligan/Skandalo: Los Tigres - reunited! Unfortunately time has caught up with them and Tigre Blanco is a shell of his former self and Metalico has the jekyl and hyde deal going where one week he looks like he did on the 9/28/07 PPV and the next week he looks like he does on most C3 shows. Guess which week this was?:) He tried to set up an interesting spot where he tripped Hooligan on the floor and then grabbed Skandalo’s arm and tried to step on Hooligan, then spin into an armdrag but Skandalo didn’t go with the move since Metalico stumbled a bit and that’s where the rudo beatdown began. Starman had an ugly yellow/black outfit going here and hopefully that was the reason he did much of nothing in the match. Tecnicos went over but overall this wasn’t what I expected.
Damián 666/Mr. Águila/Texano Jr. vs. Heavy Metal/Hijo del Fantasma/Volador Jr.: Volador Jr. looked like a MILLION AND ONE dollars! I wish he always worked as hard as he did here. Actually I enjoyed the match as a whole as even Metal was working hard. Fantasma/Volador did awesome double dives at the end. Metal and Aguila had a funny finishing exchange where Aguila accidentally kicked Metal in the head when he forgot to duck and then Aguila low blowed him for the DQ.
La Máscara/Místico/Negro Casas vs. Black Warrior/Misterioso II/Rey Bucanero: The Mistico show, what else did you expect? Casas was just watching as had become his habbit for a while now. La Mascara took over when Mistico was resting up. They did nice dual ringpost planchas in the second fall. Finish was La Mistica and the Campana at the same time of course.
Not the greeatest show but better than a lot of regular CMLL TV episodes.
