2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #38. Psicosis II
38. Psicosis II – (29) – (5’9″, 181 lbs, ??): Part of the Invasores faction in CMLL. He’s a total effort guy. Someone who isn’t as flashy or as technically skilled as others in CMLL, but his effort puts him near the top of the card. Had a feud with La Sombra early in 2011. He lost to La Sombra in a match for the NWA World Historic Welterweight Title in early April 2011. Teamed with Mr. Aguila to challenge for the CMLL World Tag Team Titles held by Ultimo Guerrero and Dragon Rojo Jr. on July 31st in Guadalajara. Teamed with Olimpico and Volador Jr. (new to the Invasores) to win the Mexican National Trios titles from Rush, Angel de Oro and Diamante on Sept. 20th at Arena Mexico. The trio actually had a nice mix with Volador Jr. bringing his colorful wrestling style (along with great costumes), Olimpico being more of a power-based wrestler and Psicosis being the effort, hard-working guy. Began feuding with Atlantis, Guerrero Maya Jr. and Delta later in the year and the two trios would face off at the December 16th show were Los Invasores dropped the titles. Many people have said that Psicosis II has surpassed the original Psicosis in the ring.
