2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #42. Felino

42. Felino – (31) – (5’8″, 189 lbs, 29 yr. pro): Member of the very popular rudo trio known as La Peste Negra. Frequently accompanied by Zacarias El Perico. In early 2011 feuded with El Gallo in Guadalajara. He eventually lost the Occidente title to El Gallo on January 30th. After Rey Bucanero split from La Peste Negra to join Fuerza TRT and with Felino also being a part of A&E Mexico’s lucha reality based TV show, “El Luchador”, tensions arose between the two, which led to a feud between former partners. In the September anniversary show, CMLL held a 10-man cage match with everyone putting their hair on the line. Felino and Rey Bucanero were the last two remaining in the cage. Felino won the match and the hair of Rey Bucanero. He lost Tiger to Rey Bucanero when Tiger sided with Rey Bucanero and also joined Fuerza TRT. The week leading up to the final big CMLL show of 2011, CMLL held a press conference were Negro Casas and Blue Panther were going to sign contracts for a hair match. Felino interrupted and asked his brother, Negro Casas, if he could have this hair match to defend the Casas family name against Blue Panther. Negro Casas agreed. Felino ended up losing the hair match to Blue Panther on December 16th when Casas interference backfired and cost him the match.
