2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #48. Fenix
48. Fenix – (NR) – (5’10″, 176 lbs, 5 yr. pro): First noticed Fenix when he wrestled for DTU. He was actually on one of the Viva La Lucha PPVs from April in a multi-person match from DTU and was pretty impressive. That was a fun match and if it ever airs again, definitely check it out. He joined AAA early in 2011 and became a part of the AAA army of guys who would come out to defend Joaquin Roldan. Wrestled in a lot of fun trios matches in AAA. He’s a pretty fun high-flyer and it probably helps that his brother (Dark Dragon) is also part of AAA and is a very good rudo as well who wrestles opposite Fenix a lot. AAA seems to be very high on him as they have had him involved in matches with main event guys like Los Perros Del Mal and even had him team with Dr. Wagner Jr..
