2011 LuchaWorld 100 Countdown: #82. Golden Magic
82. Golden Magic – (NR) – (5’6″, 165 lbs, 2 yr. pro): Young, up-and-coming IWRG wrestler had quite a big year in 2011 for IWRG. He started off under different names as Brazo Metalico and Magia Jr. As Brazo Metalico was part of a juniors version of Los Brazos. He showed a lot of promise in his first year and in 2011 he was given a push by the promotion. Won one of the torneo ciberneticos that were booked often in IWRG. He was part of the IWRG Gym team that won against Ojo de Tigre Gym in early June. Won the IWRG IC Welterweight Championship in a one-night tournament on September 8th by beating Trauma II (quarterfinals), Apolo Estrada Jr. (semi-finals) and Bestia 666 (Finals). He followed that up with successful title defenses against Carta Brava Jr. and Bestia 666. He also wrestled for Perros Del Mal as part of a 6-way match for the Perros Del Mal Light Heavyweight Title. He lost the IWRC IC Welterweight Title to Eterno on December 22nd in Arena Naucalpan.
